Arthayes Farm Shoot:

Set in the impressive Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This outstanding family run shoot covers 1200 acres of varying, undulating countryside and has operated for over 20 years.

We can host 4-10 guns in a team on a full duck day and 8-10 on a full pheasant day, we also offer mixed days on request.

Throughout the day, depending on the bag and quarry, you will visit our memorable drives. Every peg is guaranteed to see a lot of impressive birds. The way we manage our ducks ensures they fly high off an elevated landscape. Our pheasants are quality, testing birds.

Our birds have a reputation for flying exceptionally well, year on year, providing a great day's sport for both seasoned professionals and first timers. Which is why our guns always drive away with a smile on their face and their next day booked. Our main aim is to give everyone a great day!

We are happy to accommodate smaller teams if you are prepared to shoot the bag. We are happy to recommend local accommodation if needed.

If you would like any more information, please feel free to get in contact.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Regards Henry.

Mr. Luke Carter

Great shoot here, welcomed with bacon rolls and plenty of tea and coffee! Henry then told us the plan for the day over some port and off we went to the first drive. Some lovely birds up there with plenty to pick from! After each drive there was a drink waiting for us and 11's was all home made and very good. Great family run shoot and will definitely be back, thank you Henry 👍

Henry has been fantastic at answering our initial enquiry right through to a couple of questions just before the day The welcome that we received was brilliant we were welcomed into the farmhouse on arrival for tea and coffee and a great bacon roll, we all felt it had a great family feel to the day which made us feel all very welcome The ducks flew exceptionally well on what was a wet day with not huge amounts of wind yet there was something for everyone for the less experienced shots through to those of us looking for the highest of birds The Hospitality of the day was excellent All in all a highly recommended shoot and one we as a syndicate are keen to return to Thank you Henry and the Team

3rd September, early ducks, you might not expect much. Well it was nuts, Henry organised really well as ever and the birds flew like they has been practicing. The most fun possible shooting in September.
