The Llanforda Shoot has been re-established for let days, Llanforda Estate is located on the Welsh Borders in Shropshire. The focal point of the shoot is the spectacular parkland with stunning far-reaching views over the Shropshire plains. The shoot is flexible enough to provide the guns with a varied amount of shooting from parkland setting, ancient woodlands and deep valleys.
Llanforda is located just outside of Oswestry and is just over an hour from Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. It should also be noted that a London to Chester train service is only 2 hours and we can arrange accommodation and transport from the station which is only 30 mins away from Llanforda.
The exciting opportunity of shooting Llanforda as it is further developed will give the guns an exhilarating day on one of the hidden gems of the Welsh Border. You will not be disappointed.
We are offering guns the opportunity to shoot 150 to 300 bird days, but if you have a different requirement we can often tailor the day.

Hospitality
A generous hospitality package is offered with coffee on arrival, refreshments after every drive, elevenses and a shoot lunch to conclude the day. Any additional local hotel and dining reservations can be arranged on your behalf.
Topography
Llanforda has varied terrain from rolling parkland with fantastic woodland margins and cover crops for flushing, woodland drives to keep the keenest shot on their toes through to some magnificent deep valleys to produce some very challenging high birds. The Estate with its terrain and woodland is being managed with the shoot very much in mind. Each drive can be accessed by 4x4.

A great day put on by the team in challenging weather. A combination of a still day with continuous snow made it difficult for the team but they put on a good show of birds and the hospitality was brilliant. Can't wait to return on a windy day to see just how well those birds can fly! Thanks again to the team.

We shot the Brogyntyn Estate which Mark Lawrence managed very well. The whole team enjoyed the day thoroughly. Both the shooting and the hospitality were excellent and we look forward to shooting the Llanforda Estate soon.
