Sitting on the edge of the Shropshire Hills over 3,500 acres, these neighbouring estates are located a few miles outside Ludlow, just over an hour from Birmingham. Set in glorious Shropshire countryside in an area known as the Ludlow Marches, the grounds cover an area of unforgettable and varied natural beauty on the slopes of the Shropshire Hills. Ludlow is a short drive away and offers a wealth of hotels and restaurants.
The estate has a bespoke gun room with log burner which can be used for breakfast and hot meals, as well as providing shelter during breaks on wet days.
Bag sizes: 200 - 500 Pheasant and Partridge, with days available from Mondays through to Saturdays, as well as multi-day shoot programmes, enabling guns to enjoy our other estates.
A shoot bus is available for full teams by prior arrangement.
Our emphasis is on providing quality throughout, from terrain, our range of drives and bird presentation, to food, drink, and accommodation. We are passionate about creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Hospitality
Full English Breakfast is provided and breaks in the field are accompanied by traditional "Gin and Fizz" as well as hot and cold refreshment and elevenses featuring local produce and often game dishes cooked freshly in the field by our friendly host staff.
At the end of the day, we return to the Gun Room for a shoot meal.

Topography
The estates cover 3,500 acres on the edge of the Shropshire Hills and produce quality high birds.
With 28 drives to choose from, featuring steep banks and valleys, established woodland and cover crops, we can cater for every level of shooting.
About the hosts
Your team is headed by Oliver Davies. Over the past 25 years Oliver has established a reputation for delivering quality driven game on his shooting estates in Shropshire and Worcestershire. Birds are reared throughout the Summer by our team of experienced gamekeepers to ensure that we deliver consistent sporting days throughout the season. We adopt the highest welfare standards in our game rearing facilities, constantly improving our husbandry and game production methodology to ensure that we produce strong and healthy birds.

Had a great day here yesterday with 3 friends. Breakfast in the pub before moving off. All pegs got good shooting, plenty of duck with something for everybody, including plenty of sporting birds even on a windless day. 3 cracking drives rather than 4 smaller ones. Oliver and Kate were very friendly and looked after us well, bearing in mind all the corvid restrictions etc with elevenses followed by pies in the field for lunch . Cannot fault it and we all drove home with a smile on our faces.

I shoot Winwoods Syndicate , however this was an extra day arranged by Oliver Davis & David Beardsmore , the weather was challenging on the first couple of drives , however this did not impact the level of experience of Oliver's Keepers, the presentations were as good as a fine crisp day , plenty of options to choose the right bird for you , plenty of shooting and from what I could see , everyone had high end shooting , these are value for money days and not to be missed , there was some new guns to this shoot , who will be returning , an excellent day , and great hospitality . Well-done , Oliver & David .

Oliver consistently delivers a high quality experience. Well managed and well presented Birds at all times. EXCELLENT VALUE! This is my 3 rd time shooting with Oliver and I would have no hesitation in recommending this shoot to anyone. There are Birds for all level of shot and even the novice is made to feel as welcome as the experienced shooter.He has added Arely Estate (ARELY ABORETUM) to the portfolio and they produced an excellent buffet lunch in their luxurious Hospitality suite situated in beautiful grounds. The birds were good as well! Well done Oliver and his team!

A superb day at Winwoods to finish the season. As usual Oliver Davies and his team controlled the day with a quiet skill and efficiency that is rare to find. With David Beardsmore looking after the guns and in constant touch with Oliver it always combines to make Winwoods the highlight of anyone's season. With quality shooting at this level my only option was to join a syndicate here!... I've spent a couple of seasons as a roving gun but it can be a bit hit and miss. Joining a syndicate at Winwoods ensures I can guarantee at least six days a season of top class English driven shooting. A quality shoot that knows exactly what it takes to produce top class driven game days.
