Conservation Efforts
We are very proud of our conservation success with song birds on the estate , having counted 800 finches on one wild bird cover during the month of February, and with part of the estate being organic we have a fabulous quantity of insects and hence a variety of birds etc;

My mate and I had a great day with Steve and his team. All aspects of the booking, on-going communication and the day itself were professionally delivered with a genuine sense that everyone wanted to make sure we had a good day. Drives were well presented with plenty of quality birds, the hospitality was spot-on and I would be pleased to shoot here again.

The shoot is actually at Whittam Hall just to the West of Shrewsbury. A very warm welcome and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere from start to finish The drives contained plenty of Birds and whilst a somewhat overcast sky and very little wind the Birds flew well with a few quite challenging shots to be had The young keeper and his team did an excellent job for the Line Very nice to see youngsters in the beating line enjoying the day too Lunch was taken in a Timber Bothy at Leigh Manor about a 10/15 minute drive from Whittam and where we had the final drive of the day from a Maize Cover Crop with a splendid back drop of a steep wooded bank behind the line A definite challenge for the Pickers Up but all birds down bar one a accounted for A great bunch of like-minded guys to shoot with whom I hope I have the pleasure of meeting again at Wittham
