A handful of driven days available on the beautiful 86,000 acre Strathconon and Scardroy Estates. All drives are easily accessible where you will shoot pheasant , partridge, ducks, woodcock etc in some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery. Dates to suit for teams of 8 guns. Shooting 6/7 drives per day with elevenses included. Drives like Upper Dalbreac and Jubille wood will test the best of shots. Transport can be arranged and dogs are most welcome.
Days available are for 100+ birds..
A typical day starts at 9:15 meeting outside the larder where you will be met by the head keeper and his team, a quick safety briefing and draw for numbers before moving off to the first drive. After the third drive we stop for elevenses (soup and a dram) before shooting two more drives before lunch. Normally the guns bring their own lunch or we can supply at an extra cost. After lunch we head up to Scardroy for a couple of drives in the afternoon, before returning to the larder for a final count. Guns are offered a few braces of birds before departing..
Accommodation can be arranged in the main house or one of the smaller lodges which can easily cater for a full team with or without a cook. Contact us for accommodation prices..
