Glen Shiel Estate

Glen Shiel is a 14,500 acre estate on the west coast of Scotland with a homely 8 bedroom lodge it offers comfort and dramatic scenery. With oodles of history the head stalker Colin's family have been in continues employ managing the deer on the estate for over 150 years and many generations. There is a healthy small salmon river in the valley and flat flood-lands that offer good walked up sport all the way from the foreshore right into the glen. The hills (some Munroes) rise dramatically providing deer stalking and walked up woodcock shooting (there are beats for most abilities but a reasonable level of fitness is required to make the most of the sport on the mountains) at the top of several of our hills you can find ptarmigan.

The shoot is focused on food and the gastronomic side of fishing and shooting all our weeks are fully catered full breakfast, light lunch and 3 course evening meal with house beer and wine included.

The lodge is comfortable and homely a large sitting room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room and smoking room make up the down stairs with 8 bedrooms 1ansuite 3 further bathrooms and 2 shower rooms
