Deer Stalking
A deer stalk in the Highlands of Scotland at the base of the mountain Little Wyvis.
The stalk itself would be to shoot a 20 point Red Deer breeding stag that is located in our reserve. The reserve is a large area consisting of 776 Acres. The reserve is fenced off at the perimeter.
Topography
The land is open hill consisting of heather and some areas of rough grassland.
Species
The hunt is for the 20 pointer red deer stag. This is what would be hunted on this occasion.
We do have other species but these are not for shooting currently.
Gun hire & insurance
I offer gun hire. The rifle will either be a .243 Bruno or a .308 Steyr.
All hunters should come with their own insurance.
Experienced hunter required to shoot this 20 pointer stag.
About the hosts
It will be a guided stalk by either two of the experienced stalkers on the land.
On arrival it will be meet and greet. Then we will go over the plan for the day and insure insurance is all cover.
Non-shooting guests
No non hunting guests will be able to come along on the stalk. They can reside at the cabin whilst the hunter and stalker are out.
Travel information
Arrival at Inverness airport and collection can be carried out.
There is a main road that leads to the location.
Final thoughts
This is a deer farm and the hunt is to shoot a 20 pointer breeding stag within the reserve.
