We would like to welcome you to Western Romania, a place where boar roam freely through majestic forests and get to considerable sizes both in terms of weight and length of tusks.

But why come all the way to Romania?

• you can experience truly wild nature and beasts that never saw the railings of any fence or enclosure, in what are Europe's largest remaining wild habitats with stunning scenary
• boar here grow up to 250 kg**, with tusk lenghts of 24cm**+,  and can easily score gold by gathering over 140 C.I.C points
• you will benefit of all the thrill of the German style driven hunt and may also choose individual stands in highseats under the moon, in the frosty silver forests

So, how do we do it?

Description & Weather

The typical size of these hill side and mountain hunting estates is of about 15,000 acres mostly covered with dense forests of oak, red beech, fir and birch. Altitude may vary from 200 to 1000 meters. So, you may choose the difficulty level of the terrain. Temperatures are mild in November with a frosty morning or two, but highs of 7-12 Celsius. December, January and February may see good snow and temperatures hovering over and under the freezing point. 

We can currently provide hunting opportunities over four estates all located within a maximum of 2 hours drive from the Timisoara airport. The closest ones are only 25 minutes away. Lodging is provided in confortable refurbished and fully equipped village houses, you may see the photos below.

Transport & Accomodation

Timisoara, famous for the start of the anti-communist revolution of 1989 is a 320.000 strong city on the Western planes, three hours away from Hungarian capital Budapest.

Timisoara is directly connected to London with flights going to and from Luton Airport.

Depending on your time and flight arrangements you can opt for a 5 day trip (Tuesday to Saturday) with 3 hunting days, or a 6 day trip (Saturday to Thursday) with 4 hunting days. If you wish you may opt to stay an entire week from Saturday to Saturday next and have 6 hunting days in different areas and landscapes of the Western Carpathians.

Ideal group size is 4-6 people but we also welcome individuals or smaller parties.

You are provided with transport from the airport and in and out of the grounds in safe an reliable Land Rovers and BMWs.

We like to accommodate you with the best organic food - three meals per day, great wines and are open to meet any of your preferences.

You will be accompanied by me throughout the entire trip, without the hassle of ever being  lost in translation - I was educated at Epsom College, Surrey.
