Glenlora House is a private estate situated on the West Coast of Scotland, just 25 miles from Glasgow and Loch Lomond.
Originally built in the 1600's, shoots where re-stablished on the estate in 2010, and after several years of successful planning and expansion the estate is opening its doors to offer guests the opportunity to enjoy its shooting once more.
Set in 250 acres of idyllic Scottish countryside the estate offers 7 woodland drives all of which present exceptionally well for Pheasants. The drives have also long created ideal cover for Woodcock, which are seen in good numbers from mid November onwards and make our shoot days all the more challenging!
Here at Glenlora House we will be offering a limited number of 100 bird days, from the 3rd November through to the end of the Pheasant season on the 31st January.
We aim to produce good quality birds in a relaxed family atmosphere so that guests can have fun and get the most out of there day.
The estate also has a private clay range which can be booked separately upon request.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks are on offer throughout the day.
A warm breakfast is provided upon arrival.
Elevenses and light refreshments are provided at the shoots half-way point.
A fully catered lunch can be provided upon request and tailored to guest requirements, including drinks and refreshments.

We have a clay range which can be booked as an extra and used for a group challenge at the end of the day.
Topography
The estates 250 acres is a mix of woodland and arable land that is spread out across a hilly landscape and a sloping terrain.
The seven drives offer good variety, with pheasants being driven to and from the various woodland areas or from cover crops. The lands sloping topography tends to create shooting for all skill levels, with some drives offering high and challenging shooting.
About the hosts
Glenlora House and its shoots are operated by The Woodcock Family, who have built the shoot up from a rough shoot, in 2010, through to a fully syndicated, organised and desirable driven shoot.
We are keen to share our shoot with others and hope you are able to have as much fun and as great an experience as we have had over the years.
