Final thoughts

Lymore Estate Shoot dates back pre 1900. In 1909, the then Prince of Wales (later King George V) shot at Lymore by invitation from Lord Powys. The Estate is also home to the Offa's Dyke Path, the famous path that runs along the England and Wales border. Which means visitors will literally shoot in both England and Wales in the same day.

This is a very well run shoot in a beautiful area of the country. Bob and Margaret make a good and welcoming team themselves and they have a strong beating and picking up team. There were plenty of birds and shots on 6 very varied stands. A lovely day which we hope to repeat in the future- highly recommended.

A fantastic day had by all 10 Guns. Bob and Margaret did a great job hosting the day, a friendly relaxed and professionally run shoot with some testing birds. I will be definitely returning to this little gem of a shoot. Steffan
