Evancoed Shoot

Evancoed shoot is located on the  welsh side of the Powys and Herefordshire border, with stunning scenery and surroundings. The drives are mostly woodland drives, set in mostly broadleaf woods with valleys running from end to end, the woods being made up of mature beech, oak and ash.

Although most days are family days, we do sell a few small bag days where the focus is on the day as a whole rather than just the shooting. You will be met on arrival by your host for the day and the keepers wife, where you will be taken to the shoot room for coffee and biscuits before being driven to your first peg in 4 seater mules. All the mules are kitted out to carry any equipment you need, as well as dog boxes if you require them, well behaved dogs are more than welcome, guns being encouraged to pick up if they so wish, although there will be pickers up presen. You will be driven to within walking distance of each drive, unless you prefer to walk, so the mules will be handy all day

During the morning you will stop for a tipple and snack out in the feild, once refreshed there will be a further 2-3 drives before returning to the shoot room where you will enjoy a meal with your host. The keeper will join you later over coffee where you will havea chance to discuss the day.
