Brigands - Bettws Hall

Brigands is a raw and rugged shoot situated on the Southern edge of Snowdonia National Park. The vast landscape is incredibly striking, offering a challenge that will appeal to accomplished shots. The hillsides are more akin to mountains, and birds are frequently flushed from diverse natural cover. While Brigands is certainly not for the faint of heart, it offers an array of birds at varying heights throughout a drive, allowing you to build confidence before tackling high birds.

Sporting lodges:

A great day’s shooting usually starts the night before when the team meet, it’s a great opportunity to have everyone in one room to discuss the latest news with family and friends and of course to talk about next day tactics from cartridges to choke sizes.

The two purposed built sporting lodges both have eight en-suite bedrooms which is suited for team days, while Bettws Hall house has five en-suite rooms which is ideal for individual guns shooting on the roving syndicate. Both lodges and house have a private dining room, sitting room, drying room and of course not forgetting access to the spa room which is fully equipped with a hot tub, sauna and massaging facilities. Each lodge has it’s own first class chef providing delicious local produce and fine wine from all corners of the world, there is also a broad selection of bar drinks to chose from to relax with before dinner.

There will always be reliable staff members to meet and greet you upon arrival and to of course make you feel comfortable during your stay with us.

Alternatively you can stay at the Brigands Inn which is based on the shoot and is capable of sleeping a full team of guns in great comfort with food, hospitality and atmosphere to match.

What to expect:

Most drives show extremely high birds that can range up to 60 yards or more, we recommend 4's and 5's shot sized cartridges. Testing drives to watch out for are Waterfall, Oaks, Welsh Haven and Heavens Water.
