We are a small rough shoot in mid wales catering for 6-9 guns.All birds are generally driven over pegs with maybe sometimes a walking gun.Bag size is from 50 birds to 100 birds according to what the party wants.WE have pheasant and duck which have been released and also a few common grey partridge .Usually have 2-3 drives in the morning followed by hot stew,cheese and biscuits etc.We will do one or two drives pm according to the bag size.Cup of tea or coffee at finish and a drink at local if guns wish to come along.
Hospitality
coffee or tea on arrival and introductions,we then do draw with a glass of port and try to getaway by 10.A couple of drives and stop for a quick drinks break in the field,before one more drive and lunch.We are a very informal shoot and beaters and pickers will be socialising together with the guns at drinks breaks and lunch.
Topography
The land is flat in one area but the birds to climb,another part of the shoot is more off steeper ground and a long wooded dingles.

John and Ron.My name is John and I try to look after the beaters and pickers during the day,Ron looks after the guns and also picks the birds.WE both enjoy doing the job we do for the fun and entertainment we hope to provide.
