This intimate shoot is set within classic Welsh rolling valleys that provide truly testing birds for all shots. The shoot is based a stone’s throw away from our sporting lodges.

A great day’s shooting usually starts the night before when the team meets. It’s a great opportunity to have everyone in one room to discuss the latest news with family and friends and, of course, to talk about next day tactics, from cartridges to choke sizes.

The two purpose-built sporting lodges both have eight en-suite bedrooms, which are suited for team days, while Bettws Hall House has five en-suite rooms, which is ideal for individual guns shooting on the roving syndicate. Both lodges and the house have a private dining room, sitting room, drying room, and access to a fully equipped spa room with a hot tub, sauna, and massaging facilities. Each lodge has its own first-class chef providing delicious local produce and fine wine from all corners of the world, and a wide selection of bar drinks to relax with before dinner.
