The Pateo dos Solares shoot provides its customers with top quality Iberian Red-leg partridge driven shooting. The stay is in the Pateo dos solares, a charming boutique luxury hotel built around the fortress walls of the town of Estremoz, with history that dates back to the Roman times is perfect both for shooters and non-shooting guests.
The area is also known for the superior quality of its wines, with world renowned producers such as Julio Bastos or João Portugal Ramos, with vineyards just a few hundred metres from the hotel. Packages with visits to these wine houses are availiable.
Our hunting estate, with over 2500 hectares, in the heart the the "upper Alentejo" gathers the ideal topological characteristics for the Iberian partridge. With valleys and hills, beautiful and challenging shooting has proven to deliver on customers expectations.
We can also provide wildboar night shoots or duck shooting. These packages can be a combination between the various options.
All our packages can be tailor made to meet client’s needs.Our season starts on the 20th of September and goes through to February.

-Two nights at the Pateo dos Solares luxury botique hotel - All meals during the stay (Breakfast and dinner at the hotel and lunch at the shoot) – Drinks are included during meals

-Cartridges in excess of the ones provided - cost of extra box of 25 is 10 euros.

General information:
It is Our priority to make sure Our clients have an enjoyable, trouble free trip. This is what makes Our clients come back. This said, here are some of Our tips when planning a trip with Us;
Flights; TAP Portugal / British Airways / Easy Jet all have various daily flights either to Lisbon or Faro airports, from all UK's main airports.
The airport transfer to the hotel as well as transport to and from the shoots are done by our team, and at no additional cost. The trip from the airport in central Lisbon is 1h 40mins.
We arrange hotels/ villas in or around Lisbon for guests who want to visit Lisbon for a night or so. - All inclusive packages may be arranged to meet customers' needs.

I was at Pateo dos Solares last year on the first week-end of December, for a partridge shoot with some british friends. The weather was beautiful and the estate is fantastic for shooting these birds. It was good to see shooters from so many different countries. Hope to be back.
