Welcome to Remony Estate.

Whatever the weather, we know that a day at Remony will be one to remember.

We love our shooting and offer a wide range of opportunities for a custom built day that suits you. Anything from a 30 bird walk around day to a fully catered 100-120 bird day in central Perthshire on the beautiful banks of Loch Tay. Come and enjoy the wonderful scenery and the hospitality of a 4th Generation family run shoot.

Whether its your first pheasant or a high one screaming along on the wind we like to see people go away with a smile on their face.

North facing ground on the banks of Loch Tay gives us an excellent contour for medium and high Pheasant shooting. When the wind gets up, the loch acts as a funnel and when the birds get the wind behind them, they really move, providing some entertaining shooting.

Hospitality

Days can be designed around you. We have the capabilities of providing anything from a simple coffee in the morning with the two gamekeepers to a fully catered drink, lunch and tea in the main house.

Your day, Your choices.

Birds

Shelter belts of ancient woodland and custom planted forestry sites provide a fantastic range of shooting on the steep contours of the banks of loch tay. This is all integrated into the farming business as well.

Birds can be challenging and we are sure you will leave with a smile on your face.

Topography

The steep North facing slopes overlooking Loch Tay have established shelter belts - for the sheep and cattle - running down the hillside. These mixed woodlands provide excellent cover, shelter and the opportunity to provide sporting birds flown from them

Conservation Efforts

We are often involved with conservation works whether it is new plantations or peatland restoration, we love our slice of paradise and are always working to make it better.

About the hosts

We are a hill sheep farming unit run as part of a mixed enterprise estate. The present father and son team are third and fourth generation and live and work year round on the estate. We care passionately about the place and all the wild life that exists here.

Travel information

Travel will likely be via your own car. We do not have public transport that would bring you here. A 4x4 is recommended on our ground for your comfort and we have estate vehicles that will help aid less mobile guns to their pegs.

Final thoughts

Pheasants have been here since the family bought it in 1925. The shoot was commercialised in the late 80s and we have been enjoying a wide variety of guests here over the years.
