Keithick Shoot offers a unique opportunity for a team of guns to enjoy a classic day’s shooting on a stunning, family-run estate in Perthshire, overlooking the River Isla. With 1,200 acres of shooting ground, this private shoot - established in 1953- boasts carefully maintained woodlands designed specifically for pheasants, including Japanese greens and ringnecks.
Keithick offers seven to ten scenic drives across parkland and along the river, where there’s also the chance of mallard and teal.
Days are relaxed, with an advertised 100-bird target, though the keeper is open to discuss extending the day’s bag. At £40 per bird, it’s exceptional value for a traditional day in beautiful surroundings.
Keithick Shoot prides itself on flexibility and a no-frills approach, making it ideal for guns seeking quality sport with minimal fuss. Other options are available to tailor the day to your team’s preferences. We look forward to welcoming you.
Hospitality
Lunch at the nearby Meiklour Arms Hotel can be arranged, and if booked early, a private dining room is available. Alternatively, guests are welcome to bring their own elevenses or lunch to enjoy on the day. We can also shoot though if this is what the guns would prefer.
About the hosts
The team of guns will be welcomed to the Estate by keeper Mark, and shown to the pegs on each drive by a designated person who will escort you around for the day.
