Feddal Deer Stalking

A varied mix of woodland and forestry, as well as open hills.

We offer both Roe Buck and Doe stalking as well as Red Stags and Hinds.

All stalks are accompanied by a qualified guide, and the estate provides a rifle for guests who require one. Guests with their own firearms licence are welcome to bring their own rifle if preferred. For Novice guests, practice and instruction will be provided before the stalk to ensure you are confident and comfortable with the rifle beforehand.

The Stalking is personally guided by myself, offering a relaxed, and genuinely personal experience. Each stalk is tailored to the individual, with time spent quietly covering the mixed ground, locating and assessing deer before making a careful approach. Whether an experienced stalker or completely new to the sport, guests can expect guidance, quality deer and an enjoyable day on the ground.

Non-hunting guests are welcome to accompany the stalker at no additional charge, but this must be agreed in advance. They are welcome to enjoy the experience, take in the surroundings, and be part of the stalk.

Feddal is easily accessible by car, with Dunblane train station only a 15-minute drive away. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are less than an hour’s drive from the estate. Pick-up from any of these locations can be arranged by prior agreement.

Feddal is a privately owned estate in the heart of Perthshire, with a strong focus on providing a personal and enjoyable stalking experience. The stalking is kept deliberately small-scale, allowing each guest to enjoy the ground at their own pace and receive plenty of one-to-one attention. With varied mixed ground, quality deer and beautiful Perthshire scenery, we aim to offer a genuine Scottish stalking experience without the formality or high prices often associated with larger estates. We can also offer accommodation alongside the stalking experience with two premium Airbnbs on the estate.
