Dungarthill Estate

Dungarthill is an enchanting ‘kingdom’ of a Perthshire estate, with control of all the country within its domain.  It lies amongst some of Scotland’s most breathtakingly attractive countryside.  At its core and completely private is Dungarthill House, a stunning example of late Victorian architecture, standing in a colourful and established garden with mature trees and shrubs that offer colour at all times of the year.

Dungarthill is a renowned shoot with established drives, benefiting from the topography and has been run as such for over a hundred years.  During the current ownership, the shoot has been extended and developed to provide two consecutive days shooting.  In addition, Dungarthill offers surprisingly testing fallow stalking – the fallow are said to have been introduced to the area by Mary Queen of Scots - as well as roe shooting.  At the core of the estate is a delightful loch, and this, together with other lochans and splashes provide trout fishing and duck flighting.
