Building on the rough shoot that has brought so much enjoyment to our family and friends over the years, in 2012 we decided to put down a few birds and a year later we held our first driven day.
We aim for a mixed bag of around 50 birds with pheasant, red-leg partridge and the occasional flush of wild duck off the river.
Hospitality
We can organise an excellent dinner at our favourite local pub - The Red Lion at Chalgrove, where Raymond's delicious roast beef and Yorkshire pudding followed by traditional English puddings are firm favourites. For people looking for somewhere special to stay we recommend the Old Parsonage on the Banbury Road.
Topography
The shoot spans our 650 acre mixed farm, set in gently rolling countryside with some good hedge-rows. Our environmental stewardship scheme supports plenty of wildlife and we are lucky to have over a mile of river frontage along the River Thame.
About the hosts
The farm has been in the family for several generations - we are lucky to have such a great place to live and work and we really enjoy welcoming people to share it with us

Mr. William Roberts
Me and my lad had an excellent day with Phil and fi the hospitality was most excellent and we could not have been made to feel more welcome and at ease right from the start the hosts where on hand with food and a drink birds found it tricky with the weather conditions but the day was enjoyed by all even with the bag not being met we had plenty of opportunities and there was a number of jonior shots so the bag in my opinion would have been met if with a normal team Highly recommend this shoot especially if you have a jonior getting into the sport P.s the lunch is served in a log cabin by the river with a log fire to warm you through plus fis home made soup and various other bits and pieces
