We shoot on over 3000 acres of arable, grassland and woodland offering mainly driven partridge over valleys and meadows in the early part of the season moving onto driven pheasant over limestone gorges in the later season.
Hospitality
Various hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day along with an elevenses/field lunch before a roast cob or pub meal to suit the teams preference
Topography
Lowland arable and grassland partridge shooting over natural valleys and meadows. Pheasant shooting around woodland including over a number limestone gorges
Conservation Efforts
On top of good farming practices we plant a number of blocks of wild bird game crop to provide habitat and food through the winter and spring months, supplemented by late winter feeding. We also operate a targeted predator control regime designed to protect birds, eggs and young particularly during the spring and summer. This helps to sustain a population of grey partridge, lapwing, various birds of prey plus many more
About the hosts
We are a long established syndicate shoot with a team that shoot from September to January. A small number of let days are offered most years for non syndicate teams.
