Lemmington Shoot

The Lemmington Estate is a renowned family owned shoot situated just west of Alnwick in Northumberland with spectacular views across to the Cheviots. The shoot covers 2,500 acres over three valleys running up to the Alnwick moor producing spectacular high and challenging pheasant, partridge and duck shooting.

The Estate normally shoots days of between 100 and 250 birds with a mix of pheasant, partridge and duck being available throughout the season.

Our aim is to provide excellent shooting within a relaxed family shoot atmosphere. The meeting point is Keeper’s Cottage, in the heart of the estate, where refreshments are available to start the day. Keeper’s Cottage provides a convenient location for guns to meet and relax before the day with the property being available for holiday lets together with the adjacent Kennels Cottage outwith the shooting commitments or for a select number of guns prior to shoot days.

You travel around the shoot in your own 4x4 vehicles, however, if you don’t have something suitable we can arrange this together with drivers and loaders as appropriate. A home cooked lunch is provided at Keeper’s Cottage, which also serves as the venue for tea in front of a roaring fire after the days sport before departure.
