Middleton Tyas

The Middleton Tyas Shoot based in Richmond, North Yorkshire is a family low ground shoot developed over the last 40 years. The shooting takes place across arable and grass farmland with birds shown from plantations designed for shooting with the help of the GWCT.

We are thrilled to be able to open up the family shoot to one visiting team per year and there is an opportunity for you to join us on one of our days.

A typical day would consist of 6 drives with a wildfowl drive to start with producing many truly wild birds - wild mallard and teal. The remaining 5 drives will be predominantly pheasnts. Although we do have some wild greys on the farm, we will only shoot these if we have a successful breeding season.
