We are on top of a hill outside Skipton with wonderful views. Steep rolling country with most drives in the open on the edge of moorland. Guns come into the house for an excellent lunch and good wines. This is a very relaxed, friendly shoot with no overage. Guns are encouraged to bring dogs and the pickers up are well trained to keep well away from those wishing to work their dogs!!
Pheasant, partridge and grouse. Most drives are off hill and moor edges providing very high testing birds .
We have a couple of drives where it is normal to be up to 8 to 1 cartridge to kill.....but don't worry as they are not all like that!!
We can do days of 2 pheasant drives, 2 partridge and 2 grouse or pure grouse days. Also Duck flighting on the moor.
Family shoot with only a few days to let. 150 - 400 birds @ £44 all incl. No off road vehicles needed. Loaders can be provided if wanted.
We can also do small semi driven / walked days of around 60 head for £1500.
September Partridge 150 - 200 birds @ £39 all inc.
Late 40 - 50 brace grouse days also for £6,000 all in for 8 guns.
Very good pub very close by.

We can also provide a novice day on the grouse of 25 -30 brace day providing experienced loaders / instructors including myself....

Topography
Some steep moor edge drives with spectacular high flying pheasants and partridge , and sometimes grouse all in the air together !! Most of the drives are off open ground , so no surrounding a one acre game crop here !!

A great day with quality birds on every drive. Great to see a shoot run along the lines of a family day where we were made very welcome. This shoot is a template for how all driven game shoots should be. Excellent hospitality, we hope to be back. Thank you.

It's not often now you visit a shoot that has the feel of a private shoot and that's exactly what Carleton Park is. Driven off the edge of moorland helps show birds that are good enough for everyone. The day felt un-rushed and professional in every way. The birds were strong and fit which definitely helped as the weather was wet all day albeit not heavy rain and as a result we saw some wonderful quality. We were aiming for a bag of 250 and the final total was 280 inc vermin. If you get the opportunity to go - grab it with both hands.
