Wretton Shoot

Wretton is a driven only Shoot in West Norfolk, on the edge of the Fens, only 2.5 hours drive from Central London. It is mainly a family run shoot, that let out a small number of days each season. We provide majority Pheasant, with Partridge (both french & English) and some drives will contain WILD Duck. From December onwards good numbers of Woodcock can also be shot.

The Shoot was planted up over 170 years ago so there are some mature woods and also some more recently planted woods which provide some excellent sport.  Bags of between 150 - 250 can be provided. The majority of Birds will be Driven Pheasant, with some drives providing good numbers of French & English Partridge. Good numbers of Wild Duck and Geese can also be shot if the team wishes. From December onwards we also get a lot of Woodcock that can also be shot.

All Food and Transport is provided by the shoot and the owners are very welcoming and hospitable. The day will normally consist of 6 drives, with a field lunch and elevenses provided, with coffee in the morning and tea and cake afterwards. Upon request we can also provide a full meal in the shoot lodge.
