Located half an hour west of Norwich, the Woodrising Estate offers traditional rough shoot days covering over 3000 acres of Norfolk countryside. With 300 acres of woodland and cover, Woodrising presents a challenging selection of game.
We offers some Walked-Up days with Various Quarry (pheasant, partridge, woodcock, snipe, teal, mallard, geese and hares) Duck Flighting, and Deer Stalking (Roe deer, Muntjac deer and Red deer).
One of the great assets of the estate is the 60 acre Scoulton Mere which offers morning/evening duckflights throughout the season with purpose built hides on small islands .

Positioned in Woodland and on the starts of the Yare Valley the land is perfect for woodland and valley shooting.

I had a great day shooting with Sebastian on the Woodrising Shoot. Classic walked up shooting, high quality birds with a very diverse range of shot types. Sebastian was very welcoming and an excellent host, highly recommended.

A great day with Sebastian and Mark. Lovely day with a bit of a breeze with cloud and intermittent sun. Sebastian clearly knows the ground really well. A nice blend of straight walked up and walk and stand. Great mix of guns. Whilst the bag was slightly down at 33 everyone had their fair share of shooting and with 157 shots the bag should have been higher. Sausage roll, lovely soup and port for lunch. I'll definitely book a day or too next season

Great day of walked up shooting on a bright Autumn day. Well run by Sebastian assisted by Keith. Mainly pheasant in the bag (which was full) but also partridge and woodcock about. Nice to finish off the day with sunset duck flighting on the good pond/lake set up that Sebastian has access to.

One of my favorite shoots James and Mathew work hard to look after everyone and I highly recommend visiting them for a day. Hospitality is second to none. I take at least three full days and an my guns always enjoy shooting there.
