Stow Shoot is run over the 4,000 acre Stow Estate which has been in the Hare family since the 16th century. The Estate is situated in the West of Norfolk just outside the town of Downham Market, about 10 minutes south of King's Lynn. Access by car to Stow Bardolph is very easy as the main A10 runs straight through the Estate. We are just less than 100 miles from Central London about 45 mins North of the A14 at Cambridge.

The Stow Estate is part of the Heritage Landscape Management Plan which recognised its natural beauty and unspoiled heritage. The ground includes the Park with its mile long tree-lined avenue as well as the surrounding arable area and woodland. Game cover is set such that birds are driven over the guns back towards the woods. The shoot itself is a family run affair with a relaxed atmosphere. We aim to shoot between 150 and 200 birds a day mainly pheasant and partridge but also some wild duck. We have lunch at the award winning Hare Arms pub in Stow Bardolph and tea at the end of the day with Lady Rose Hare.During the day guns are transported by shoot staff in a "Gunbus" pullled by a tractor. Guns are collected at the begining of the day and dropped off at the pub for lunch. After lunch guns are collected outside the pub and delivered back at the end of the day.
