Took an experienced team there for the first day of the season. Weather was mixed sun and cloud with a light wind. Steve , Terri and the team produced a fabulous day. Plenty of birds that flew brilliantly with plenty of choice for all abilities, excellent hospitality and a great friendly team running the day. Would thoroughly recommend this shoot

A fabulous day in unseasonably hot and sunny September weather. A warm welcome and briefing over coffee before leaving for the first drive. There were birds a-plenty however, the warm, still air didn’t favour a spectacular display until later in the day. Hospitality was excellent including the thoughtful provision of bottled water on the gun bus to deal with the guns’ thirst. My only comment (and by no means a criticism) was the lunch - roast beef was a little heavy given the prevailing weather, perhaps something lighter may have been appropriate. In summary, well looked after, plenty of birds and I would certainly go back.

Stephen and his team gave us a day that we still speak of for all the correct and enjoyable reasons. Absolutely no shortage of birds which we enjoyed over five drives. We will be looking to secure yet another day for Partridge and maybe a Mixed day. Thank you again. Steve Dye

many thanks Stephen and your gang for laying on a marvellous days partridge and a few more pheasants than probably planned. all drives are well laid out, decent cover crop and no danger of shortage of birds. add that to a delightful lunch and what has to be the greatest chocolate cake we've ever devoured, and if you'll have us, we'll be back!
