Decided to leave my thoughts regarding this shoot to confirm what has already been written. Excellent from start to finish, safe well run shoot where both Richard & Nigel do everything possible to ensure sport for all, would recommend without hesitation. I will without doubt be seeing them again.

An extremely pleasant day with a superb relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Richard and Nigel took great pains to see everyone had their fair share of shooting and their knowledge of the flora and fauna was second to none. Their anecdotes were pretty good too! The breakfast prepared by Sara is definitely worth mentioning; I cannot recall having had a better one. All in all - highly recommended.

I have been twice now to the Oaktree Farm shoot. It is a fantastic day out: Richard is a wonderful host, and Sara does a beautiful breakfast. I've been on a few rough shots and this is one of the best: the elephant grass holds few elephants but lots of willing pheasants; the ducks usually fly in a cloud right over me (a very safe course of action), and there is a great variety of undergrowth to trample through. As a naturally outdoors person this shoot is right up my street. The local pub afterwards has an unusually addictive bar game which I recommend too! I look forward to going again later this year!

I was fortunate in 2013 to enjoy a fantastic day at the Oaktree Farm shoot. The day commenced with a wonderful Full English breakfast (if staying in a local hotel like I did, I would heartily recommend skipping their breakfast in order to take full advantage of the wonderful offering prepared by Sara - it is the full works and there is free flowing tea & coffee!). The shoot is a very relaxed affair with a dedicated shoot captain (Richard) who ensures you are made to feel very welcome, indeed by the end of the day I felt part of the family and was very sorry to leave. Safety is the very top of the agenda, as it should be, and I for one was happy in the knowledge that I was able to enjoy the day knowing all risk assessment had been diligently preplanned and expertly executed on the day. There was a fantastic variety of game available, however I am still smarting over a missed partridge that seemed ever so simple a shot! Oh well - next time! In conclusion a fantastic day out with a real 'family' feel about it, have already booked for next year and am looking forward to visiting this beautiful part of Norfolk once again. Thank you Richard - see you soon!
