Where you can find us

Baobab is located not far from the Etosha Pans and the Kavango/Caprivi in Namibia. We offer hunting as well as photographic safaris.

Baobab is a mere 90 mins from the Etosha Pans by car and a 2 hour drive from Rundu, the entrance to the Kavango and Caprivi. It is an ideal start to any safari or hunt. We will gladly combine hunting with a photo safari or an adventure safari in the Caprivi.

As we grew up with the San Bushmen, our children and my husband can speak the language fluently. By doing so they have learned many a secret from the San and therefore understand their culture as well as many of their hunting ways. It is well known that the San call the Friederich family the "white" San of the north. As trackers and hunters they are unbeatable. Whether you hunt with a camera, a rifle or a bow it remains an adventure not to be missed!

We are small family run hunting operation and offer mainly plains game. Big game is available on request with our partners on the concession areas. Besides rifle hunting we also offer bow hunting. You may hunt from a hide or by walk and stalk.

We guide our own hunting clients on our farm and on the concessions where possible. As we only take small groups at a time and only one hunting party at a time, we can offer optimum service. Every hunter is accompanied by a qualified and registered PH. Hunting is done by the rules and laws laid down by the Namibian Wildlife, Environment and Tourism authorities.
