The Norton Estate is a beautiful eighteenth century estate 10 miles north of Lincoln overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds. Pheasant, partridge and wildfowl are shot over the 1,500 acres which comprise woodland and extensive game covers. Our season begins early in September on wildfowl and continues until the end of January. We have a few days' shooting available during that time, typically between 100 and 200 bird days.
Hospitality
We will provide lunch for all of the guests in the gun room at a mutually agreed time and further refreshment will be on hand in the course of the day.
Topography
The shoot takes place over gently rolling farmland which produces in particular some excellent driven partridge, both French and English. There are also four bodies of water on the estate including a dramatic 8 acre main lake on which some excellent mallard and teal may be shot.
About the hosts
Your host is Mr Adam Duguid who runs the estate and lives there with his family. Mr Duguid is a former City of London solicitor whose family have lived on the estate for three generations.

I was looking for a days shooting on the ducks, so looked at guns on pegs & found Norton Place, Near Lincoln. Geoff the head keeper got back in touch with me very quickly & after chatting to him I booked a day there & then. Well i have to say I had a brilliant day, ive never seen so many ducks & there was plenty for both beginners and the more advanced shooters. If you want an exciting days shooting then look no further than here, it was an incredible day & Geoff made us feel very welcome with no pressure on the amount you shot or missed. Im already looking forward to next season because this is a duck shoot you would not want to miss out on. Thank you guns on pegs pegs & Geoff for an amazing day

Shot with Geoff for a number of years now. Keep going back because his duck are like no others I have shot at , They will Leave you laughing, frustrated but mostly amazed when you pick out a proper high bird from the pack. I keep coming back and have brought several others here . And I’ll keep coming for years to come . Cracking days out with like minded people and phenomenal ducks !!!!

I got in touch with Geoff who runs the Norton estate shoot to ask a few questions as i was thinking of taking a day there. Geoff instantly put my mind at ease so I booked. All I can say is WOW those duck were the best I have shot at for a very long time. No circling round and round just up and gone at a very good height. I can only echo the comments of my son, having also joined the Norton syndicate after enjoying single days. The Estate is well laid out to show excellent birds, especially wildfowl, with challenging partridges and pheasant later in the season. Owner, Adam , is a perfect host, and Geoff and his team work tirelessly to provide a safe, friendly, relaxed, challenging and sporting day.
