Blankney Estate

Our hospitality is a core part of the Blankney experience. The day begins with drinks on arrival, followed by elevenses out on the ground to keep spirits and energy up between drives. A light lunch is served in the field, giving guns a relaxed break without losing the rhythm of the day, before the day is rounded off with dinner in the evening.

Guns can expect good, driven partridge sweeping over the estate's small rolling valleys, producing testing, high-quality birds that make for a memorable day in the field. The land itself is free-draining, providing ideal conditions in which both partridge and pheasant thrive throughout the season.

The estate benefits from good, mature woodland, which provides the cover and height needed for genuinely challenging, high birds.

Conservation sits at the heart of how Blankney is run. The estate has a number of active conservation schemes in place, alongside a strong commitment to environmental and wildlife protection more broadly. Blankney has never been put to the open market, it has always remained a family-run shoot, and that continuity is reflected in the long-term care taken of the land and its wildlife.
