Hunting is organised in the Kurland Hunting estate which is located in the west of Latvia in Edole parish. The hunts take place in wetlands and lakes that vary in size from 5 to 30 ha and is mostly on mallard. Usually a one and half day event with a minimum bag size of 1000 birds. Groups should consist of 8-12 guns.
Hospitality
We will take care of you since the moment you exit the airport. Airport pick up, meals, licences, soft drinks all provided. Loaders are also available. Lodging is in a 3* hotel in Kuldiga, Hotel Kuldigas Metropole, which is about a 25 minute drive from the estate.
Topography
Shooting is done from ground and floating stands, so our beaters will take the guns with a boat if they draw a floating stand. Generally flat landscape none rough walking necessary.
About the hosts
This is our 5th year of running. We have adopted the Swedish hunting method of raising the birds and the way of running the hunts, this allows us to provide high quality birds that will challenge even experienced shots. Mr Calle Pfeiff has been involved since the start of this estate and still consults us.
