Winstanley Estate Shoot

Welcome to Winstanley Shoot

�The shoot is ideally located close to the motorway network being just a 5 minute drive from either Junction 25 or 26 of the M6, there are a number of hotels available locally for people who wish to travel the day before or stay over that night.

�The shoot in contained within the Estate walls with currently 11 drives available, the drives range from woods were the birds are driven out over the guns, cover crops and a pond surrounded with a cover crop were duck are flighted off.

�Camp Hill is the drive that gets all the guns talking, it is a wood on a hill that has about an acre of cover crop at the side, this drive produces some very challenging pheasant and partridge

�A typical day starts at 9am at the barn for tea and coffee, once the Draw and the safety briefing are done its out in the mini bus for the first of 3-4 drives.

�Around 11 o�clock it�s back to the barn for soup and tea and coffee, then back out for the main pheasant drives until we have the bag, the bag normaly consists of mainly pheasant and partridge with a few duck and the odd woodcock.

�Then back to the yard mid afternoon were the guns get first picks off the game cart, then into the barn for a hot meal and drinks

�Well behaved dogs are welcome, as are guests of the guns.
