Mossborough Shoot

Tea and coffee will be provided before a short morning briefing from the shoot host, then head out for the first drives.

We are happy to accommodate groups of 8 to 10 guns. We can also accommodate teams who are looking for small days for advance shooters, or beginners who are looking to get into shooting. All guns must provide evidence of insurance. We propose to hold 6 to 8 main shoot days within the season, with 125 birds per day, from October. Game will be pheasants, ducks & partridge.

Merseyside & Lancashire are not renowned for rolling hills. However, Mossborough takes advantage of its surrounding woodlands and with putting down quality birds, we can produce some fantastic sport.

The nearest railway station is Rainford Junction station, approx. 2.4 miles from the venue. Other nearby stations include Kirkby, Headbolt Lane, Ormskirk and St Helens. We can accommodate vehicles for guns with on-site parking available. Easily accessible via nearby motorways (M58, M6 & M62).

Shooting dates now available from October 2026 to January 2027. We have taken delivery of our poults and we're seeing many wild broods of Partridge and Pheasants.
