Medlar Shoot is a family run shoot situated, within the Lancashire countryside. The shooting covers an area in excess of 1000 acres, with a variety of woodland, ponds, game cover crops and marsh land. The days can be tailored to the guns preferences, as we have availability of pheasants, partridge and ducks. The bag for the day can be between 150-300 dependant on the guns requirements. The shoot has 20 drives so their is a wide variety of landscape, to provide an excellent shooting experience.
Hospitality
Bacon butties are provided on arrival and hot beverages, Lunch is provided and depending on the day could be hot beef sandwiches or Burger from the local butcher etc. Cheese and biscuit's along with cakes will be provide at the finish of the day whiles everyone con discuss the exciting day we have had. refreshments are provided throughout the day wither you would like a cold drink or a port all is available.
About the hosts
The Kirby family will be hosting the day with Ted being the shoot captain.

Ducks, ducks, ducks and more ducks! I had a day here with a friend and we were very pleased with the birds on offer, the hospitality from Ted and his team and the efforts made to give us good shooting. I would have added more to the bag had I remembered my cartridge bag on the last drive . . . . . . If you like ducks this is the place to go.
