Sibton Sporting Club operates the Skeete, Sibton & Stowting Hill Shoots, situated within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, between Folkestone and Canterbury. We operate as a club, offering our members driven mixed pheasant and partridge days across 1,500 acres and four principal beats, with bags ranging from 200 to 400 birds. We pride ourselves on quality and consistency of our driven birds.
We are easily accessible being within ten minutes drive of the Channel Tunnel, and five minutes from Junction 11 of the M20. We are happy to show prospective members around the shoot.
Hospitality
We have use of a purpose built timber framed Shoot Lodge, presented to a high standard.
Tea/coffee on arrival, breakfast can be provided if requested, elevenses to include sausage rolls, soup, sloe gin and fizz, three course lunch with a fully stocked bar, tea and cake at the end of the day. Catering is provided by Shepherds Table Bespoke Private Dining.
We also are able to arrange lunches at our local pubs if preferred, including The Tiger Inn at Stowting (voted Best Pub in Kent 2022). We can arrange overnight accommodation on your behalf, with The Pig at Bridge Place, Boys Hall, Eastwell Manor and Frasers at Egerton all within easy reach.
Transport is provided in our gun bus.
Topography
We have a "little piece of the West Country" in East Kent, with pheasant drives across steep wooded valleys on a chalk escarpment on the North Downs. Our partridge drives make use of the sweeping arable land and game covers.
About the hosts
