The Neats Court shoot has been running for nearly 10 years and offers the opportunity  for guests to shoot in a wide variety of settings at a number of different locations over two days, where your enjoyment in a friendly, social atmosphere, is at the forefront. The majority of guns attend from Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, perhaps our greatest testament, enjoying the great variety of settings and species, where wild duck and geese are taken from the marshes and chalk downland partridge at stalisfield. The shoot is hosted by William Lawrence, who himself is a keen shot, enjoying good quality shooting in a sociable atmosphere. The formality of an estate shoot is mixed with wildfowling to create a sense of adventure, and driven cover crops on marshland fringes offer duck, pheasant and partridge to add to the variety. Memories of a left and right at geese one day, met with a cracking partridge or pheasant from the North Downs the next, is what this shoot is all about.

The availability is very much suited for 2 friends, of any age as existing guns range from early twenties to their seventies. The accommodation will offer a large twin room with ensuite facilities, based on 2 sharing. Good dogs are welcome on shoot days, but not in accommodation or the Inn. Dogs can overnight in vehicles or arrangements can be made for kennelling at the Shoots Kennels for no extra charge. This shoot also has the benefit of a very experienced and well qualified picking up team, with 2 of the dogs competing at this years Springer Spaniel Championship. If you enjoy watching or are thinking of purchasing a good working gundog, the trip will also provide that opportunity.

The trips to the Shoot commence the evening before the first shoot day where all guns meet at the Ferry House Inn, Isle of Harty.(Website available via search engine), a short distance from the accommodation, for 7-8pm. A drink and a good meal con be purchased, and it offers guns a good chance to have a chat by the fire.

Excellent accommodation is offered at "the Saltings", a recently restored barn conversion, where large living facilities, 6 en suite twin/double bedrooms and far reaching views, means it is a great place to stay. The saltings also plays host to the three course shoot supper upon your return from the first day.By entering "mocketts farm holiday lets" into a search engine, full details can be viewed.
