Shooting on the Isle of Wight

*Shooting on the IoW 2018-2019

The shoot is in a central and beautiful part of the Island. The day will include, pheasant, partridge, duck and at the end of the season, Woodcock. In October and November there is a higher proportion of partridge which are extremely high & fast and compare with the best in Cornwall. Guns can be selective on what they shoot and should find the birds challenging.

Accommodation

We suggest you stay at the New Holmwood ,a delightful family run hotel, beside the sea only 15 minutes from the centre of Cowes. The rooms are all ensuite and dogs are welcome. There is a diverse selection of Pubs, Wine Bars and entertainment in Cowes even in the Winter.

The car ferries are reasonable priced over the shooting season and we can organise a 10% discount on the cost when booked in advance. A point of interest; From the Home Counties it is as quick to travel to the IOW as it is to reach Devon or Wales!

Guns are transported around the Shoot in a covered trailer pulled by a tractor. Shoot lunch is included.
