Pagham farm offers excellent quality partridge shooting over stubbles and downland . We are a well established shoot in the centre of the Isle of Wight with great scenery and varied drives to suit everyone. The Isle of Wight has some excellent accommodation to offer guests looking to say overnight or for the weekend. We have recently teamed up with the Royal hotel in nearby Ventnor. With a newly installed gun room and gun cleaning facilities, it's a great choice for visiting guns and guests alike.
Hospitality
On arrival there will be tea and coffee and a bacon roll and the usual chat about the (usually poor) weather ! After the second drive we will stop for elevenses in the field(sausage rolls - sloe gin). We aim to stop for lunch at around 12.30 in the shoot lodge. Stew and jacket potatoes followed by a pudding followed by two more drives in the afternoon. The day is usually finished by 15.30, leaving time to get a ferry back if needed.
Topography
The shoot offers drives on downland and rolling stubbles and over arable crops. The topography of the Arreton valley lends it's self to partridge shooting perfectly with rolling banks and hills as well as chalk downland. Over the years the shoot and farm have established some wonderful conservation projects to protect the habitats on the farm and surrounding downland. As part of the farms stewardship scheme the shoot plants several acres of wild bird mix as well as cover crops

Mr. nick secrett
We were a single team for a day won at auction but really well treated - excellent curling birds with a strong wind by end for signature drive where they were spectacular
