“To shoot on the Artramon Estate is to shoot with friends”.

From this simple desire comes the gentle welcome that has become The Artramon Shoot. Here you will be greeted with the traditional Irish language welcome of “Cead Mile failte”, a hundred thousand welcomes! Guests will feel at home and relaxed from the moment they arrive in a way that is truly unique to this green island.

As we shoot Sundays many guests like to combine a two-day weekend shoot event.

The German owned Artramon Estate combines the long family hunting tradition of The Walderdorff’s with the relaxed approach to life and true passion for hunting of the local guides in a fusion that is much enjoyed by all guests. (Perhaps you can also succeed as others have done, in getting the head guide to display his deep knowledge of quality Irish whiskeys and their local manufacturing techniques). Some guests may like to combine a trip to the International Wexford Opera with their visit.

In Artramon you can enjoy challenging driven pheasant and duck, walked up shooting; pigeon flighting; wild duck shooting or indeed a day on the World Famous North Slob, home to some of the most challenging wildfowling. Guests coming to Artramon can have a program tailored to their exact desires, a single day or a full week. On a week’s visit The Estate becomes your home and you can decide on whatever program suits you, including free additions such as evening pigeon shooting.

Sample Rates -

Clay pigeon shoot – £10 per gun, plus lowest wholesale cost of clays and cartridges.
Evening pigeon shooting – no charge. Pigeon shooting over crops -£50 per gun per day.
Driven pheasant & duck - £29 per bird. 100 – 200 bird days available.
Morning / Evening Wild duck shoot on estate - £17 per gun.
Walk-up shooting £17 per bird.    
North Slob Wildfowling £350 per gun per day.
