A rare opportunity to enjoy a day of driven pheasant shooting at a hidden gem, a traditional family shoot who have decided to let a limited number of days for the first time. Placed deep in the dramatic highlands of Scotland, scenery is not something you'll go wanting for. With our steep hills, cliffs and hanging woods the topography just screams high pheasant shooting, and certainly produces the sort of sport you would expect. With a mixture of established drives with varying landscapes we can cater for teams with any level of experience.
Hospitality
Coffee and bacon rolls are provided on arrival along with elevenses. A sit down lunch can potentially be provided upon request, normally eaten midday. Hot drinks will be provided throughout the day.
Topography
We boast a mixture of topography. Hills are certainly something we are not lacking in, as you would expect from the Highlands. Forestry and woodland is prevalent, with both deciduous and pine trees. You could be standing on a track at the foot of one of these hills, on a woodland ride or in a grass field with a river to your back, presenting exactly the sort of sport that comes to mind when you picture a traditional high bird drive.
Conservation Efforts
We plant a variety of bird plots in addition to our game covers. We also strive to not have monoculturally dominated plots; choosing instead a variety of small seeded varieties that benefit all present species of songbirds as well as our game.
About the hosts
You will be greeted and looked after by one of our friendly, welcoming staff, all of who's focus is on providing a warm, relaxed day for you and your friends and or family.
