Stark Hunting Ltd., which owns and operates the Château Mátra retreat, has been delivering exclusive hunting experiences since 2001. Whether your preference is driven hunt, walking, high-seat or stalking our all-inclusive programmes are tailored to suit your every need. You are assured of a bountiful bag with our all-year-round wild boar and mouflon hunting, and seasonal hunting of red deer, fallow deer and game birds.
Hospitality
In total, we have 10 rooms, 2 of which can accomodate 4 person each (single beds), while the rest of the rooms are equipped with double beds, allowing is to comfortably accomodate 16 guests. Each meal served is prepared by our in-house chef, the menu can be negotiated before your trip to incorporate specific needs, preferences. A wide selection of drinks are available at the bar located in the club room, where pool table, shooting simulator, card and board games can be found. Our hunting programs are all-inclusive. Guests may borrow weapons.
Topography
The estate is located in the mountainous Mátra region of Northern Hungary, offering numerous scenic sights for a successfull shoot. Duck hunting is organized at the Bodony lake, surrounded by hills.
