This was the Peaton Rovers first visit to the Hen House Farm Shoot. This was our first shoot of the season due to the Covid-19 Lock Down and the Hen House Farm Shoot did not disappoint. Steve and his wife Jess has worked hard to ensue the shoot day was Covid-safe, including having to alter catering arrangements. The majority of the drives are driven from woods and covers off a hill side, which present really good pheasants and some scorchers! Despite it being a really wet day and the first time these birds had flown (due to the Covid-19 Lockdown) the birds flew really well. We did 5 equal sized drives and easily made the bag. All the guns in our team commented how well this shoot is run and what a friendly atmosphere the shoot has got. Without hesitation the Peaton Rover's have requested another day next season. We have no trouble recommending this shoot. Many thanks to Steve, Jess, all the team and thanks to Josiah who hosted the day.
