We are a traditional family farm shoot with a very relaxed atmosphere providing a very limited number of let days per year.
Typically the day will be 5 to 6 drives depending on the bag size, the team of guns and of course the weather.
The shoot has been in existence for the last 40 plus years. We have a mixture of ground including some very challenging hangar drives, presenting some top class birds.
The days being offered this year will be a mixture of pheasant and partridge drives and we can accommodate teams of between 9-10 guns.
We provide coffee on arrival, elevenses usually in our heated barn. A relaxed lunch is provided where you can mingle with other guns, beaters and pickers up which adds up to a very relaxed atmosphere. Lunch is usually homemade soup, pasties and homemade cake. The days are very well catered.
For the days on offer we are looking for full teams. We provide a tour of the farm/shoot for anyone who is interested in taking a day.

There will be a mix of drives, including the traditional partridge over Hampshire hedges to more challenging birds off one of our hangar drives
Conservation Efforts
We have been doing environmental work for over 15 years, you will find beetle banks, lapwing plots, wildflower meadows and much more
About the hosts
Host will usually be Tim, a retired farmer with many stories to tell or Nick his son
