Pheasant

A new shoot comprising of  8 / 10 shoot days to be split between two sites in Hampshire,  the first is a mature woodland block in Alton consisting of comercial timber with a mix of Hazel, beech, oak, ash and pines sited on a steep hill side this shoot can prove quite challenging when the wind picks up and birds climb.

The second site is across further woodland and a  very pretty small farm near Eversley, the woodland being a mix of comercial pine / hemlock, birch, beech, oak, ash and Hazel with large banks of Rodadendren and thick bracken to loose your birds in, so a good dog should you have one is always welcome to lend a helping paw and nose. The farm to be shot over is a very pretty and old fashioned piece of land with nice gentle rolling fields to provide some good sport.

Both venues will produce Pheasant and woodcock with the ubiquitous wood pigeon being ever present along with the usual rough shoot targets of grey squirrel and corvids should you so desire. The shoot venue at Eversley will produce some Mallard though , not guaranteed and it is a stipulation that only drakes be taken.

We have a strict and absolute ban  on any ground game and a rigidly enforced no shot under 45° rule  ( for obvious safety reasons ) we also require any and all guns to read and sign a risk assessment, terms and conditions and rules form  applicable to both venues and also insist on all shoot members to hold valid up to date insurance such as BASC, NGO or equivalent.

Our Hope and aim is to provide  a calm, relaxed, fun and most importantly a safe shoot for all involved regardless of ability.

The cost per gun for the whole 8 /10 shoot season is £450:00 with a non refundable deposit of 50% to be paid on acceptance/ commitment to joining the shoot.

Day shooting can be organised by prior arrangement when costs will be confirmed.
