The Vaynol Shoot

The Vaynol shoot is a family owned and run driven shoot - located on The Vaynol Estate, located near Bangor - North Wales. The Vaynol Estate offers some of the best game shooting available in North Wales. Whether hunting pheasant, duck or shooting pigeon - from small 100 bird days to large driven pheasant days, you will appreciate the high quality of sport on the stunning Estate. There are may years of history shooting on the Estate, dating back to the 1800's and we have continued the tradition on since our ownership, some 40 years ago. Pheasant Shooting season is available from mid October until the end of January, days of driven Pheasant are available for parties of 8-10 guns. Bags range from 100-200+ depending on species and time of year. There are a good variety of drives at Vaynol, from duck shooting around the lakes to shooting alongside the famous Menai Straits as well as the well known Grand Drive. The choices available fulfil the objectives of providing a variety of high-quality sport. Days can be tailored to the client's wishes - including hospitality. Hospitality is included in the price of each days shooting. It is standard practice for a party to meet and greet for tea and coffee before heading to the field. During the day elevenses will be provided and after that lunch. There are various types of accommodation locally to Vaynol from Premier Inn's, Bed and Breakfast to luxury four star country house hotels.
