FOREST OF DEAN

I have owned woodland and fields in East Sussex (Beckley) and the Forest of Dean for the past 15 years or so with the primary aim of sustainable management of the local wild boar population. We only target male boar and because of this we hunt throughout the whole year. This exercise is a night-time activity, generally using thermals to spot (and sex) wild boar as they enter my land to feed and rifles with thermal or night vision scopes to shoot them. Guests usually arrive 1-2 hours before dark and after an initial briefing we set up in a tower or double high seat. Most guests, in particular first time visitors, are accompanied. The outing can potentially last all night. If successful, any boar carcasses can be purchased. Any deer shot, either before dark or at first light the next morning, are totally free of charge, including the carcass! A number of guests can be catered for at the same time. Hunting for 2 or 3 consecutive nights is also a possibility. Estate rifle facility is available and is totally free of charge, including any ammunition used.

GUARANTEE: As wild boar are a wild animal that range over a very wide area, it is impossible for me to guarantee any success or even seeing a wild boar, but I do offer a guarantee. IF YOU DON'T SHOOT AT A WILD BOAR FOR WHATEVER REASON AFTER 3 OUTINGS WITH ME, THEN I WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE YOU OUT FREE OF CHARGE UNTIL YOU DO GET A SHOT AT A WILD BOAR.
