Croomes Grove Shoot
Outstanding upland shoot over 500 acres. Very steep banks and woodland. Partridges and pheasants. High birds our speciality. Fixed price days for teams of eight guns, up to 250 birds. Lunch and/or local accomodation can be arranged.
Simulated Shooting
For those looking for a more challenging shoot at Croomes Grove we have a variety of Game shooting packages for groups. Its as close to the real thing as possible. Simulated game shooting at Croomes Grove offers a perfect day’s shooting with friends, colleagues or clients throughout the year. The package has the formal feel of a driven day’s shooting.
Cartridges can be supplied at an additional cost. If you prefer to bring your own cartridges, we ask that you please ensure they are fibre wads.

We have shot with Tim at least once a year for 10+ years, He has always looked after us well and ensured that we have enjoyed the day. The birds are challenging and the beaters and pickers up friendly. I would recommend this shoot to anyone who enjoys a challenge. We have booked next season already.

I have now shot with Tim for many years and wouldn't return if it weren't an excellent shoot and value for money. These are testing birds and not for novices. I last shot there in January (2017) and the bag was 136 with plenty of shots fired. There is a great article on line at Shooting UK that gives an accurate reflection of the day. I've booked for next season already.

Have shot with Tim for over 10 years. Always good quality high birds. Refreshing to pay for the day (usually 4 or 5 drives) and not have to worry about the numbers shot. Our team (roving) has about 12 days per season. Croomes Grove is the out and out high light. Already booked 2018!

We paid for a 150 bird day. Has some great drives in the morning, very good birds. After lunch we had a drive and then Tim decided to call it a day after we had shot only 100 birds and plenty of time for 1 or 2 more drives. When questioned he said we had paid for the day and not the birds! Then he mentioned on going on shots, we had shot 500 cartridges between us and the average we were told on the shoot was 5-6 to 1! So we were shooting the average and still stopped! Great ground, great birds but don't get ripped off like we did and pay "for the day" when we're told we were getting 150 bite day, worked out over £60 a bird!
