400 km from London and 4h30 by car, Sandricourt is located 50 km north of Paris, very close to the motorway and only 25 minutes from Paris airport. We organize 2 days including full accomodation in the Castle, one day driven pheasant shoot and one day driven wild boar. The two days in the same Sandricourt Estate.
The pheasant driven shoot of Sandricourt is known as the best traditional French shoot. While the vast majority of French commercial shoots release pheasants throughout the hunting season, Sandricourt has preserved traditions and quality since 1908. The pheasants are released in 11 open roof pens each of 3 to 10 acre in early summer, without any other release during the season. The 3 full-time game keepers are working on traditional pheasant management. Only 13 shoots are organized each Saturday between November and January. Pheasants fly high (30 to 50 yards) and fast. Rate is from 5 to 10 cartidges per birds (7 in average) depending guns.
Outside the pheasants area, we do have some woods with an important population of wild boar. We organize few driven days, high quality, hunters are waiting in 2m highseat for safety. We offer the possibility to rent rifle with sight and ammunition for the day.
